Our Genesis
Hence, to everyone reading this, we wish to make a heartfelt request.
If there is one thing that will bring real change around us, it is the belief that each one is responsible for the present environment around us & that each one has the potential to make it better.
Our environment is an interconnected web of life where nature, home, and community work together to make a good life possible. Good life depends on balance and commitment. It means finding balance with our Earth, Air, and Water as well as with our families and our communities at the glocal level. There are few things in life as enriching and satisfying as working with others and for others to make a better future.
Only you can do it. No one can make you start.
You have to decide whether you are willing to contribute to having a more rewarding life around you.
Remember that the beginning is important.
And even more important is the will to persist and persist, even though there would be some issues, problems, and challenges to address as time passes…..but remember every moment evolves you.
Let’s re-discover ourselves – re-discover the world around us.
Let’s think anew and act afresh.
Our time starts now.
Let’s not just wait and watch.
Let’s rise and re-act….,
to the prevailing unrest,
to the rising stress,
to the depleting flora and fauna,
to the growing suffering and pain and subsequently
to the emerging need for change.
Our Journey
Our Birth
This sense of responsibility for the present state of the society, a strong conviction in individual & institutional capabilities & capacities, an urge to do something positive and pro-active and the spirit of service gave birth to a voluntary association called Prithvi Innovations in 2002.
Our Growth:
Over a period of time, with the commitment of the volunteers, the cooperation of our members and the generous support of our Mentors we evolved as a formal, not for profit organization, committed to change and registered under Societies Registration Act 1860. (Registration No. 344).
Besides the local initiatives, we also strived for global partnership. And within a short span of time, our efforts got recognized internationally when on 21st August 2002 we became the first official Organizing Committee of Clean Up the World, Sydney, Australia in Uttar Pradesh.
(Clean Up the World is a non-profit global organization, engaged in various Clean up, Fix up environmental projects & events held in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)).
Since then, there has been no looking back….

It was a proud moment for all of us when Ms. Anuradha Gupta, our Founder & General Secretary, name was announced for the Ganga Samman' for her Passion, dedication, innovative ideas & green initiatives & consistent efforts to educate students, especially youth and women to conserve Water, reduce water pollution and to keep our rivers, especially Gomti clean and green by conducting 236 plus Clean up drives along Gomti river bank near Ghaila, Kudia ghat & Jhulelal ghat engaging more than 50 schools & organizations from Oct. 2017 to Dec. 2019.

And for planting more than 800+ native & fruit trees along the River Bank.

Special Honor for efforts during COVID19
Prithvi Innovations was honoured in Rajbhawan by Honourable Governor Madam Smt. Anandi Ben Patel & DM Abhishek Prakash ji , along with 21 other NGOs,for providing help in Covid-19 period
to the Needies and for commiting to help in National Tubercolosis Elimination program by dopting TB Patients in the areas given to them. It was a privilege to be there with our other NGO partners.
Prithvi Innovations had been selected as the Partner of the SFS Programme since 2017 and is amongst SFS 152 partners from all stakeholder groups and around the globe.
The Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) Programme was launched in October 2015, as a multi-stakeholder programme to promote SCP patterns in the area of food and agriculture. It is co-led by Costa Rica, Switzerland and WWF, with the support of a Multi-stakeholder Advisory Committee (MAC) with 23 members from five different stakeholder clusters.

Global Milestone
We are the ex-member of Multi-stakeholders Advisory Committee (MAC) of Sustainable Lifestyle Education (SLE) and Partner of Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) program of 10Year Framework Plan, (10YFP), of United Nations Environment Program
and also member of the Global Clearing House on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) of 10YFP.
National Milestone
Ms.Anuradh Gupta, Founder of Prithvi Innovations was awarded by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the Grand Prize Winner of the Janhit Jagran National contest for best idea for Social change, launched by Dainik Jagran in March 2015. Received the Grand Prize Award on 10th Dec.2015 in Taj Palace, New Delhi.
